Cairns Residents Encouraged to “Download a book and listen at your leisure”.

Cairns Libraries is bringing the words of the world’s favourite authors to life in the ears of members, thanks to a new download feature.

eAudiobooks are now available for download from the Cairns Libraries website and are compatible with all MP3 devices.

Cairns Libraries Manager Kerrie Still said the download feature was easy to use and offered a whole new way to access the work of some of the best Australian and international authors.

“Now you can browse, borrow and download an eAudiobook without leaving your home,” Ms Still said.

By simply logging into and clicking on the easily-recognisable green Bolinda Digital logo, then following the simple instructions, you will be able to download to your audio device.

“Then you can enjoy listening to your choice of book with your own audio device anytime. It’s another great reason to join and visit Cairns Libraries during the National Year of Reading.”

  1. Fantastic now we do not have to travel down to Smithfield to pick up our books every month.
Great initiative to save trees as well which is the most important as well as car emissions.
    Thank you
