Support a Vision to Cure and Mission to Care with Lavender Appeal 2012!
Lavender Appeal is a fundraising merchandise appeal for the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland. We need your help to sell a range of lavender products to raise vital funds for patients and their families living with leukaemias and related blood disorders
This year, the Lavender Appeal has a fresh new look. We would love for you to be involved with the appeal and we hope you enjoy the new look and products we have available in 2012. To support the appeal, please complete the enclosed order form and return at your earliest convenience.
The 2012 appeal will be held during the month of June.
The products sold during the 2012 Lavender Appeal include:
- · Teddy bear – $10 each
- · Metal pen – $7 each
- · Notebook – $5 each
- · Natural lavender pot pourri – $4 each
- · Natural lavender soap – $3 each
Once you have completed an order form, a box of merchandise will be provided on consignment. The box is small and attractive, measuring just 20cm x 27cm and contains a separate box for money collection. The ‘standard box’ has a total retail value of $265 and contains the following: 10 x teddy bears, 10 x pens, 10 x pot pourri bags, 10 x soaps, 5 x notebooks. We can modify the contents of this box to suit your needs. Deposit slips are provided so funds can easily be banked.
The lavender merchandise is designed to be placed on your counter, with minimal assistance needed from staff to sell the products. Please keep the box and all the paperwork that comes with the merchandise together for at the end of the campaign you will need this paperwork and the box to return to the Foundation. I am also available in the Cairns Area to collect this at the end of the campaign and finalise and return for you. Please just let me know that you would like me to do this for you.
Funds raised by the Lavender Appeal provide vital support services for the 2000 Queenslanders expected to be diagnosed with a blood cancer this year.
The Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland receives no direct ongoing government funding, and therefore relies on the generosity of the public and businesses to continue to care for patients and their families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma or related blood disorders and to invest in medical research seeking cures.
This year the Leukaemia Foundation aims to raise $200,000 from the Lavender Appeal which will go directly towards supporting patients now and in the future.
If you would like to assist the Foundation in its Vision to Cure and Mission to Care, then please complete the attached order form and return via post or fax.
