Community Spirit Alive at Fretwell Park for post-fire clean up!
There was a FANTASTIC turn out of volunteers down at Fretwell Park for the post-fire clean up this afternoon. As reported in ‘The 4868 Report” the two ‘non-indigenous’ (now that never gets reported) offenders have been caught by the police.
Clubs that call Fretty home, the South Cairns Cutters, Fury Soccer and Mulgrave Cricket were all there, in a great show of community spirit!

Edmonton detectives today have charged two 16-year-old Bentley Park youths with one count each of endangering property by fire.
It is alleged both boys set fire to the building at a sporting complex at Bentley Park overnight.
Around 11.30pm, crews were called to the Robert Road premises where the building was well alight.
The blaze caused extensive damage to the upper level of the building, roof and roof as roof of the building and smoke damage to the balcony and inside the top level of the building.
No one was injured during the incident.
Both youths will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.

Police are investigating a fire at a sporting complex at Fretwell Park in Bentley Park Tuesday night! Around 11.30pm, crews were called to the Robert Road premises where the building was well alight.
The blaze caused extensive damage to the roof of the building and smoke damage to the balcony and inside the top level of the building. Fortunately no one was injured during the incident.
At this stage police are treating the fire as suspicious and scientific investigators will examine the scene today.
