Setting The Record Straight on AQUIS!

Let us ‘set the record straight’ on AQUIS. The proponent will be able to proceed and develop that site, as long as he has the money and desire to do so!

In terms of local residents expressing their concerns, that is perfectly legitimate. Community submissions are specifically allowed for as part of the Environmental Impact Statement Process (EIS). Many of the concerns will be addressed by ‘conditions’ placed on any development.

Good planning, community engagement and a thorough process will ensure the best outcome!

Of course people will twist the truth for political purposes, but this process is governed by statutory requirements and timelines and most of the comments you will hear in the media are just ‘hot air’ nothing more!
