Cairns Pinoy Grocer Greg Colbert wants to be left to his business!

An interesting news item on the plight of Pinoy grocer Greg Colbert.

We thought one of the shops either side of Greg’s store may have complained, but both shops were empty! Further down Grafton Street, four or five shops in a row were vacant. This is hardly the sign of a ‘thriving economy’!  Cairns small business is doing it tough, and many like Colbert feel all Council and State Governments are doing is making things harder.

  1. There’s nothing wrong in putting a Pilipino flag in a Pilipino shop , It’s not a big deal, it’s part of their advertisement & design.
And please CAIRNS COUNCIL , just a common sense !!!
Cairns Council concentrate on bigger problems instead .
    Thank you Rob Pyne !!!
